Internet Industry Finland (Verkkoteollisuus) was founded in April 2010 by several Finnish service providers in e-business era.

Internet Industry Finland aims to improve the conditions of e-commerce and e-business in Finland and to produce services for its members: networking, training, consultancy, business support and information. We will offer our members from one source the knowledge needed to success in e-business. Our service provider members offer services for marketing, logistics, payment methods etc, and our basic members are those who use these services - our task is to connect them to each other.

In the end of 2010 we launched a auality certicate for web shops in Finnish consumer markets. The intention is to get as many web shop as possibly to engage to the rules of certificate, and thus to improve the quality of e-commerce in Finland. When signing the rules, merchant agrees to the certain level of service he has to offer for customers. The merchant also needs to have the terms of delivery, contact information etc as required in the rules. When consumer sees the certicate on web shop, he or she will know it's safe to purchase from the shop.

We want to be useful to our members that they really benefit from their memberships, and therefore we would like them to also take real part in the association, give ideas, challenge us, tell us what we do right and what we do wrong.
